What properties does polypropylene have and what is it used for?

Mainly, propylene, also called propene, is a hydrocarbon with three carbon atoms and a double bond whose formula is H2C=CH-CH3. By polymerizing propylene, polypropylene is obtained.

In addition, it can be manufactured with various chemical structures, giving rise to varieties with different characteristics and properties for use in textiles, packaging, medical devices or automotive components, etc.
